Vegan ice cream?

I am not claiming by no means to be a vegetarian or vegan, but I can tell you that I LOVE BANANA ICE CREAM!!!! While watching one of my regular YouTube ladies named Breland AKA GlitterForever17. She is a spunky young lady. So I watched her make "vegan ice cream", and I can tell you that I ignored her recipe for a good 3 months! It wasn't until it popped up on my "watch again" list that I re-watched it. I have also been watching random vegan videos and vegan channels. I can tell you that I am mostly just curious with the vegan life style. So I gave this a try but I made it a bit different. Here is her link so you can watch her make this yumminess.

She has more than one video so I would just check around.

This is what I did

I started by cutting up 4 bananas and and two mangoes and put them into a freezer bag.  I left them there over night. The next day I put all the cut up fruit into my Ninja Blender. I also put in a teaspoon of cinnamon and a half of cup of water. I then blended it for about a minute on HIGH and that's it! DONE! It is amazing! I am going to try adding different fruits but always using bananas as the base because that is what makes it so creamy. Also used water instead of coconut water or almond milk because that is what I had on hand. If you have some bananas that are about to go bad I suggest making this ice cream. Also add things you like! They make vegan coco and other yummy things so you can custom your ice cream!

Thrift shopping

Thrift shopping can be the best and worst shopping experience in your life. You either find cool, trendy, unique and vintage pieces or you end up wasting your time shifting through clothes. I personally enjoy what I call the "hunt". Yes, while thrift shopping I feel like I am hunting for a rare animal! I always went to second hand stores as a child not because I wanted to but because my mom couldn't always afford new clothing. However it taught me that I could be dressed just as cool if not cooler than those who blew hundreds of dollars at the mall. Once I became an adult I went from going to Goodwill to going into second hand stores that sold higher end clothing. The method of finding perfect pieces was the same... I will forever be the huntress! Here are some key things to think about and do before you go on your thrift hunt. 1. See what you got!     Shop your own closet first. Do you have things that you never wear anymore? maybe to big or to small? If its in season...

E.L.F Disappointment

I am annoyed and disappointed! I LOVE my Makeup Forever HD setting powder and I have mentioned it in my past favorites but honestly I was looking for a cheaper alternative. I have seen awesome reviews for the HD setting powder made by E.L.F. I was not impressed with the packaging. I opened the box and took off the plastic cover, that day I used the powder was fine. The next day however when I went to open the container there was a mess everywhere. As a hair stylist I wear a lot of black and this shit got all over me! I was so annoyed with the powder being everywhere that I didn't even use the product. I'm sure it works great if you can get past the mess and horrible packaging... so that means I am still on the hunt for a hidef setting powder! Xoxo Samantha
