Fall nail polish colors 2015

Fall is my favorite time of year. I love the change in the leaves, pumpkin, tall boots, tights, sweaters, my list could go on. I am that girl who cannot stand chipped nail polish! It's a pet peeve. If it starts chipping then just take it fuck off! I also am a fan of the way shellac doesn't chip and looks good for longer than standard polish. As much as I love shellac I also do not like the way it leaves my nail feeling brittle and thin. As fall approaches our makeup gets a little darker, our clothes get a little darker, start the lowlights, so our nail polish also gets a little darker! Here are my top 5 fall nail colors for fall 2015.

First is a nude color. During the fall I love a more deep nude. I love my sensational polish in the color taupe. Price for these babies is around 11.99 however this is a gel polish which you must use with a UV light.

Second go to fall color is Sally Hansen Hard as Nails in the color Flirt. This color is a really deep  plum purple color and at 2.99 a bottle can't beat that price.

Next is Essie in Butler Please. This color is not a super deep dark blue but is a fun polish to add a little color in your life. This polish also is super pretty on any skin tone. Essie polish is about 8.99.

Every girl needs a good red polish in their life. My pick for fall is Sally Hansen Insta-Dry in Cinna-snap. This is a deep matte red color perfect for the fall. Price on this bottle will run you under 3.00.

My final pick for fall is a black shade. This black shade has a bit of shimmer in it unlike my other picks. I personally love black polish I think it's super chic and any girl can pull this off. I of course picked another Sally Hansen polish, this time in there Complete Salon Manicure line in the color Black Platinum. This line is the most expensive out of the Sally Hansen collections running around  5 dollars a bottle.

Thrift shopping

Thrift shopping can be the best and worst shopping experience in your life. You either find cool, trendy, unique and vintage pieces or you end up wasting your time shifting through clothes. I personally enjoy what I call the "hunt". Yes, while thrift shopping I feel like I am hunting for a rare animal! I always went to second hand stores as a child not because I wanted to but because my mom couldn't always afford new clothing. However it taught me that I could be dressed just as cool if not cooler than those who blew hundreds of dollars at the mall. Once I became an adult I went from going to Goodwill to going into second hand stores that sold higher end clothing. The method of finding perfect pieces was the same... I will forever be the huntress! Here are some key things to think about and do before you go on your thrift hunt. 1. See what you got!     Shop your own closet first. Do you have things that you never wear anymore? maybe to big or to small? If its in season...

E.L.F Disappointment

I am annoyed and disappointed! I LOVE my Makeup Forever HD setting powder and I have mentioned it in my past favorites but honestly I was looking for a cheaper alternative. I have seen awesome reviews for the HD setting powder made by E.L.F. I was not impressed with the packaging. I opened the box and took off the plastic cover, that day I used the powder was fine. The next day however when I went to open the container there was a mess everywhere. As a hair stylist I wear a lot of black and this shit got all over me! I was so annoyed with the powder being everywhere that I didn't even use the product. I'm sure it works great if you can get past the mess and horrible packaging... so that means I am still on the hunt for a hidef setting powder! Xoxo Samantha
