Hello ALL!
I am posting this a little late because I had set a goal to be 200 pounds or less by the end of the month. I FAILED, not only did a fail but I gained a pound. At first I was getting down on myself, and I wanted to give up...it was in that moment while I was eating some cookies with frosting that I realized I did not really TRY. I did go to the gym a few times and I was doing ok. However late at night I would get into the candy and sweets. So instead of giving up I made a promise with myself. I want and need to be healthy for my children but mostly myself. I want to feel better. I need to feel better. I often eat out of boredom or when I am said. So my goal for May is to be down to 190 pounds, which I think is alot considering I failed my April goal. So I decided I wanted to just be under 200 pounds. I plan on taking the following steps to subside my endless nightly eating I tend to do.
1. I have made a list of things "to do" when I am feeling like eating.
2. Practice mindful eating and ask myself if I am hungry
3. Have healthy snack options for myself and have them ready.
4. Keep my schedule workouts
That is all! I do not think failure is a bad thing. Sometimes it lights a fire under our ass so that we can get to our goals. So I am going to work harder. Not for anyone but for myself.
XOXO
