Fake it FABREZE

Hey all!

So some of you do but some of you do not know that my wonderful husband Matthew is a veteran who currently is going through the VA to finally get his back looked at. Watching the person you have committed your life to and who you love be in pain is the most horrible thing to experience. Matthew and I have known each other for a few years and when I met him I did not know how bad he was injured. It was not until we started dating and watching the pain in his eyes as he is trying to just sit and watch a movie with me. I am so grateful for him. It makes me also thankful for our veterans and current military like my brother in law Ryan for serving our country. WE ALL SHOULD BE GRATEFUL.
On that note Matthew was forced to stop working so that he would not injure himself more so we now have a single family income...and I work in social service so  I am no SUGA mama or anything but we try. So certain things we had to give up or make substitutes, like going out to eat... we go to cheaper places or do not go at all. I bring my coffee now (which isn't so bad since Matthew usually makes it for me), I pack lunch, we cut down shower time and still smell amazing (most of the time). Somethings have been a blessing such as making our own soap, Matthew makes it, has cleared up my skin, shaving lotion and body butter.
Out of everything the best thing we have made has been at do-it-yourself FABREZE!!!! Well not the real Fabreze but you honestly cannot tell the difference and I like ours better. So if you buy Fabreze it cost about 3.50- 4.00 and we bought everything for under 8.00 and get about ten bottles of Fabreze. Actually you prob already have everything to make it!!!!

S&M Frabreze

1 empty spray bottle ( I used an old one or you can get at the dollar store)
2 tbs of Baking soda (cost about 85 cents)
1/8  cup of your favorite fabric softener ( also could get dollar store brand)
The fill the bottle with hot water and shake. That is it you are done!

You could had some essential oils to get a lavender or cinnamon to get a different scent. Use about 40-60 drops. Seems like alot but it really is not.

Well that is it :) Like and support!

Thrift shopping

Thrift shopping can be the best and worst shopping experience in your life. You either find cool, trendy, unique and vintage pieces or you end up wasting your time shifting through clothes. I personally enjoy what I call the "hunt". Yes, while thrift shopping I feel like I am hunting for a rare animal! I always went to second hand stores as a child not because I wanted to but because my mom couldn't always afford new clothing. However it taught me that I could be dressed just as cool if not cooler than those who blew hundreds of dollars at the mall. Once I became an adult I went from going to Goodwill to going into second hand stores that sold higher end clothing. The method of finding perfect pieces was the same... I will forever be the huntress! Here are some key things to think about and do before you go on your thrift hunt. 1. See what you got!     Shop your own closet first. Do you have things that you never wear anymore? maybe to big or to small? If its in season...

Ride or Die

I am a little late with the "Ride or Die" tag, but I have always done things on my own time. I cannot take credit for this tag, let us thank Jaclyn Hill for that! So trying to narrow this down was actually really hard! I often switch up what a use from day to day, however when I thought about it, just I try new thing but there are my staples that I go back to time and time again.  Enough talk on with the list.
