Full Face- CHEAP drug store

How many of you scroll through Instagram or Pinterest just eye fucking these amazing makeup looks, only to find out they used a 50 dollar pallet? I have NOTHING against spending some big money on makeup... My husband can confirm this. I also believe that you do not NEED to spend a ton to achieve amazing looks! Everything I used today was from the brand Wet N' Wild which has some of the cheapest make up at the drug store!

Here are the deets

I did not use liquid foundation for this look...I have been feeling the natural skin lately so I just have moisturizer and the primer that Wet N' Wild sells.

Photo focus concealer in Light/Ivory 3.99
Photo focus powder in Neutral Buff 4.99
Bronzer Bikini Contest 3.99
Blush Berry Shimmer 2.99
Highlight Precious Pedals 4.99
Eye shadow base (I used the photo focus powder to even out my lid)
Crease Bikini Contest (Yes the bronze color!)
Liquid liner Voltage Blue 3.99
Mascara Lash Renegade in Brazen Black 5.99
Lip Liquid Cat Suit Coral Corruption 4.99
Brows Ash Brown Brow Kit 3.99 set with Clear brow gel 4.99

This comes out to 45 bucks... That's at full price which I DID NOT pay at all! The drug store always has buy 1 get 1 50% off plus coupons... Also this makeup held up pretty good throughout the day... Plus look at that liner!

Xoxo

Thrift shopping

Thrift shopping can be the best and worst shopping experience in your life. You either find cool, trendy, unique and vintage pieces or you end up wasting your time shifting through clothes. I personally enjoy what I call the "hunt". Yes, while thrift shopping I feel like I am hunting for a rare animal! I always went to second hand stores as a child not because I wanted to but because my mom couldn't always afford new clothing. However it taught me that I could be dressed just as cool if not cooler than those who blew hundreds of dollars at the mall. Once I became an adult I went from going to Goodwill to going into second hand stores that sold higher end clothing. The method of finding perfect pieces was the same... I will forever be the huntress! Here are some key things to think about and do before you go on your thrift hunt. 1. See what you got!     Shop your own closet first. Do you have things that you never wear anymore? maybe to big or to small? If its in season...

E.L.F Disappointment

I am annoyed and disappointed! I LOVE my Makeup Forever HD setting powder and I have mentioned it in my past favorites but honestly I was looking for a cheaper alternative. I have seen awesome reviews for the HD setting powder made by E.L.F. I was not impressed with the packaging. I opened the box and took off the plastic cover, that day I used the powder was fine. The next day however when I went to open the container there was a mess everywhere. As a hair stylist I wear a lot of black and this shit got all over me! I was so annoyed with the powder being everywhere that I didn't even use the product. I'm sure it works great if you can get past the mess and horrible packaging... so that means I am still on the hunt for a hidef setting powder! Xoxo Samantha
