February Favorites

                                                           February Favorites

This past month has been terrible with the amount of snow this great state of Maine has gotten.  February is a great month, my mother’s birthday is in February, Spring is fast approaching and the days start getting longer. However this month brought over 50 inches of snow for us so needless to say I have found myself home A LOT! Which means I just played with some great products.

First and foremost will have to mention my Becca highlighter in Moonstone, this is the best highlighter I have ever used! It gives a great glow without making me look like I have glitter all over my face. This highlighter is also great for any skin tone! It costs a pretty penny however it is well worth it and will last FOREVER!

I also have loved my Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour kit. I got the powder kit about two weeks before the cream contour kit came out and I am kinda kicking myself in the butt! Time to save! A good more affordable contour palette is the one from BH cosmetics I paid about 11 dollars with BH compared to the 40 bucks my lover shelled out for the Anastasias one. Not to mention the BH palette has about 4x the amount of product.

Next will have to be this big ass teddy bear I got for Valentine’s Day! It is so BIG and FLUFFY. I love to cuddle this thing…who needs man when you have this!

Now for this AMAZING MK watch I got as a gift from someone. I am INLOVE with this watch! I am also loving rose gold. I do not like gold on my skin and mostly stick to silver but rose gold looks great and I love the way it pairs with spring colors!

I also have loved these Redcherry Lashes! They are so comfortable and I love the drama that they bring to looks. I normally do not wear lashes on the regular but for someone who does not wear them often these are GREAT! You can also get a great deal on Amazon.

Have a happy Spring!
Xoxo

Thrift shopping

Thrift shopping can be the best and worst shopping experience in your life. You either find cool, trendy, unique and vintage pieces or you end up wasting your time shifting through clothes. I personally enjoy what I call the "hunt". Yes, while thrift shopping I feel like I am hunting for a rare animal! I always went to second hand stores as a child not because I wanted to but because my mom couldn't always afford new clothing. However it taught me that I could be dressed just as cool if not cooler than those who blew hundreds of dollars at the mall. Once I became an adult I went from going to Goodwill to going into second hand stores that sold higher end clothing. The method of finding perfect pieces was the same... I will forever be the huntress! Here are some key things to think about and do before you go on your thrift hunt. 1. See what you got!     Shop your own closet first. Do you have things that you never wear anymore? maybe to big or to small? If its in season...

Ride or Die

I am a little late with the "Ride or Die" tag, but I have always done things on my own time. I cannot take credit for this tag, let us thank Jaclyn Hill for that! So trying to narrow this down was actually really hard! I often switch up what a use from day to day, however when I thought about it, just I try new thing but there are my staples that I go back to time and time again.  Enough talk on with the list.
