Evil little diversion....

Most people love when they think they are getting a good deal, I do, however when you are buying salon products from your local drug store you are being ripped off in more than one way. We in the industry call it diversion and it is killing the industry and your hair! When you buy these products you do not know what you are getting it could be anything, you think you are buying quality "shampoo" but it could be .99 cent shit they put in the bottle. Most salon products have labels that state "guarantee when sold in a salon" or something like that. Rite Aid is not responsible if anything happens, such as your hair turning orange, YES! it happens! When you buy salon product your stylist and salon are responsible for what the product does to your hair. It is like getting a filling at the dentist, if it falls out it gets replaced, same goes for products. So not only do you no know what you are getting in the bottle you are also getting ripped off. Getting Past Death

Recently I lost my mom and her life partner Peter. I miss my mom. I miss Peter. Getting through this was one of the hardest things I have ever had to do...so many emotions. They say that there are 5 stages of death. Denial and isolation, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance. I can say that I went through all of these stages...more than once and sometimes all in the same day. When my sister Sarah called me saying that they were in a accident I was waking from a nap and I rushed to the hospital. Then Isaiah Reynolds called me, a young man who I considered my brother. He stated that he saw that my mother was in the car and there was a sheet over her and he could not see Peter. Zach was on his way to the hospital. I asked who was driving and Isaiah told me that Zach was, someone who I also think...

Mask of the moment

I have been using this mask for a while. I read a blog by my fellow hair school slave Jessica. I should not say slave but for moments between all tampons and hair spray I sort of felt like a slave. Anyways, Jessica posted this face mask in her blog a few months ago and I was hooked!! It’s called Aztec   Secret Indian Healing Clay and you can find it at WholeFoods for less than 10.00 BUCKS!!! Yes less than 10 dollars. You also get a big bang for your buck. I have had mine for about 6 months and have used about ¼ of the tub using it about once a week. To use this product is also super easy. Mixed 1 ½ tbs with equal parts apple cider vinegar or water. I chose to use water. This is a great product to uses if you are having those “stress break outs” which I have been having a lot lately. This has helped them in the past month. Try it out and let me know how you like it.   TIP: Call WholeFoods in advance. I went there and they were out of this product but t...
